- First of all, open Gmail and click on compose.
- A new window will appear. You can see an option like in the photo below. Click on it.
- Now a new interface will appear where you can choose an expiration date and time. Choose an expiration date by clicking on the marked area.
- Now choose one option from the marked area. "No SMS passcode" means if the recipient is a Gmail app user, then he can open the mail directly. Otherwise, the recipient will get a passcode. And "SMS passcode" means the recipient will get a passcode by text message.
- Click the save button, and you can see something like in the photo below. If it appears you're good to go with the rest of it as usual.
